The draw for the Gemini Unreal Tournament 2v2 League took place tonight, and we've been drawn in Division B which looks like this:

A point of interest here is that 5 of the 12 teams in our division are from the US. We've played a number of European teams before but no American ones. Should be fun :) The league is scheduled to start around early/mid April. More news when I have it.

League
I don't know, things around here seem to work like binary: only two possible modes: 0 (nothing at all happens) or 1 (everything happens at once). This weekend seems to have hit the '1' button :) Just as soon as we enter the Q3 2v2 tournament, we go and sign-up for the Gemini Unreal Tournament 2v2 League! This truly is a worldwide league with teams already entered from all over Europe and the States. The servers will be UK based however, and the league organisers are looking to setup their own Dial-up so that UK players can dial straight in to their game servers and lower their ping even more :) There are about 32 teams already registered and the draw for the divisions is expected to take place Monday (27th Mar). I'll post more info when I have it.

Seems Dark Prophecy has now received a little bit of a 'kick in the rear-end'. We are now registered for the WP Q3 2v2 Tournament which takes place on the 29th of April. Thanks to Caldazar for that :) It should be fun (even if we do just last the one match :). There are already a number of teams entered for this compo but the one team that stands out from the rest is [Sexeh]. It just so happens that this team consists of Mescaline and Vorvavoo *ulp* (what's the bet that we draw these guys in the First Round, eh? ;) (Now, if only I can remember how to play Q3.... >;)

I've gone and designed a new banner for Dark Prophecy (look at the top of the screen if you haven't already noticed....if you haven't noticed, I think you'd better visit the optician ;) The image you see now is version 11...but it feels more like version 111! If you don't like it, tough tumshie, coz I'm not doing that again in a hurry :p

Been away a while haven't I? ;)
Plenty of 'usual' excuses for that: Q3, UT and MKC, working on new webbys etc. Plus, to be honest, Dark Prophecy has really been on sabattical over the last few months; Clanbase didn't have a Q3 ladder set-up and we just didn't know what we (Dark Prophecy) were going to play and in what format. Once I've managed to sort out MKC's webbys and UT side, then I'll take a proper look at Dark Prophecy and see what we want to do. If you have any thoughts, just send 'em in :)
